Fair rules, enforced the same for everyone
A platform is only as good as its worst actor. RaadTaxi has clear, symmetric rules — riders and drivers are both protected, and both accountable.

What protects riders
- Every driver is vetted in person. Licence, vehicle, plate, and mechanical inspection are verified by our staff before a driver can take a single ride.
- Fare guardrails. Driver rates live within platform-set bounds, so a quote can't be predatory — and you can always decline it.
- No fare games mid-ride. Once you accept, the fare is locked. A driver who wants to renegotiate a trip type must ask, and you can refuse at no cost before the ride starts.
- Driver cancellations are penalised. A driver who accepts your ride and then abandons it is tracked, deprioritised, and eventually suspended. Repeat offenders don't stay on the road.
- Everything is recorded. Every ride, fare, and staff action leaves an audit trail our operations team can review when something goes wrong.
What protects drivers
- Rider cancellation history is visible. Before accepting an offer, you see how many times a rider has cancelled late — you decide who's worth your fuel.
- Declining costs nothing. Turning down an offer, or a fare at review stage, never counts against you. Penalties only begin once you're en route and a rider is depending on you.
- Late rider cancellations are on the record. A rider who cancels after you're already on the way is tracked — and every driver sees that record on future requests.
- A clean ride wipes the slate. Cancellation counters reset when you complete a ride cleanly — one bad week doesn't follow you forever.
- Weekly settlement, clearly invoiced. You always know exactly what you owe and when. Warnings come before any suspension, and paying an overdue balance restores you automatically.
Why so strict? Because trust is the product. When a rider requests a ride, a real person commits real time and fuel — and when a driver heads out, a real person is waiting. The rules exist so both sides can rely on each other.
